What is MYP Mathematics?
MYP year end or end of course examination is called as MYP eAssessment.
MYP eAssessment is a formal external examination.
MYP Mathematics course has two levels:
Standard Mathematics: Basic math concepts
Extended Mathematics : For students who want to learn additional math concepts and broaden their study
Assessment is divided into four criteria.
Criterion A : Knowledge & understanding ( 31 - 35 Marks)
Criterion D : Applying Mathematics in Real life contexts (31 - 35 Marks)
Criterion B : Investigating patterns (31 - 35 Marks)
Criterion C : Communicating
Note: This criterion is assessed equally across all tasks as well as other criteria and total of 25 marks are included.
Each criteria is graded from Level 1 to Level 8.
